I will begin the process of reuploading the videos you know and love soon, so please be patient. Once we're back up and running, Future Schlock will post new content again. One video had a one second nipple which I didn't know was a no-no at the time. Another video, a student film, had a half-second nipple which I forgot about. The final blow was The Gay Agenda, which had no nudity whatsoever, so it must have been too gay for them.
Keep in mind this is all speculation, since they don't tell you exactly why you're being banned,you can't take down the video in question to avoid getting banned, and you can't appeal the decision.
"YouTube reserves the right to decide whether Content or a User Submission is appropriate and complies with these Terms of Service for violations other than copyright infringement, such as, but not limited to, pornography, obscene or defamatory material, or excessive length. YouTube may remove such User Submissions and/or terminate a User's access for uploading such material in violation of these Terms of Service at any time, without prior notice and at its sole discretion."
Where are the students armed with swords and plushies and shit, not to mention the vigorous desire in their hearts to defend all that is bad and terrible?
I will make an internet petition or something to get the ball rolling, cuz those always work.
Also, what determines EXCESSIVE LENGTH? is that a catch-all?

That's really ridiculous. I guess I can see YouTube's problem with nipples, if not their decision to ban without appeal or the ability to take down the offending clip. But I haven't a clue what problem they could have had with The Gay Agenda. I'm suddenly glad I made certain there wasn't even a hint of nipplage in my last upload. Good to see you're back, though.
Bad Beginnings: I believe YouTube states all videos must be under ten minutes unless you have a Director's account. In this case it can be longer, but is supposed to be your own material and not just uploaded by you.
I don't want to defend YouTube. I have no own videos there. And I like your terrible collection, and post things of it on my blog.
But in my mind I consider, maybe the reason why you have been banned, was copyright-infringement? Because even terrible things has a maker, and the makers have the copyright. So maybe they claimed your clips?
Whether we like it or not. That's their good right. But that not solve the riddle why you have be banned with all of "your" videos.
Torsten, I'm fairly sure it wasn't copyright related, although that is within the realm of possibilities. I guess my problem stems from the way they handle the violations and the banishment. If they really wanted to remove all copyrighted material, they could and that's within their rights but they still allow stuff like "Best Scenes from Wicker Man" and "CSI: One Liners" which have been gotten over a million hits despite obviously being copyrighted material. The way their system is set up is that if just one person doesn't like three of your videos, they can be flagged and your account will be removed, not just the offending videos, but everything. I would argue (whether it's right or not) that what we do falls into fair use, because we are not trying to sell these videos, and we are not taking away profits from the copyright owners.
