Teens hate to read, but they love celebrities. Thankfully there's Teen Vid so teens can stay up to date on what celebrities are shopping without having to deal with stupid old people words and still pictures.

The 80s was a terrible time.
Hi-5 has changed their lineup a few times over the years. It's fun to see them here when they first started out. I like their new stuff better though:

Also I'm pretty sure that Cosby Kid invented the "emo look" in this video with his off-camera glances.
Good luck with your suicide kiddies!
to be fair, i'm not sure this was even the 80s. if anything, it may have been like 89. it might be more like '91... and did you guys catch that it's "stacey ferguson," aka FERGIE from the black eyed peas? yikes.
"THE VIDEO FERGIE DOESN'T WANT YOU TO SEE!!!"
It's from '91 at the earliest, since that's when "harry and the hendersons" went on the air (they mention it in the clip).
THEEOOOOOOOOOOooOOOooOooooooo!!!
i must admit. the graphics of the tv with the static and the remote took me back.
i still think those graphics hold a little water today, in an indie punk kinda way.
having said that, it was a truly awful video.
Damn...good times...mindless entertainment, everything still day-go and poppy until that Kurt Cobain and his grunge rock flushed all that happiness down the toilet! Meddling kids!!
Was that a grown up Duane at 1:43??
the only thing this video is missing at the end is "abso-lutely!"
My aunt would mail me tapes from the states when I lived in Japan and she sent me one of these Teen Vids. It was the one with the kid from "Life Goes On" playing with his horses. Had to have been '91. So bad!
Synchronize those swatches.
It's Jerry Steiner from "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" at :06
Welcome back EIT!
sounds like phife dawg, from tribe called quest, is one of the rappers at the beginning. anyone have an idea who the other one is?
I kick the VHS cuz I don't watch the beta...the beta, the beta, the beta
Little Stacy Ferguson, before her transformation to Fergie.
"no, whatever, good luck, whatever" is supposed to convince somebody not to commit suicide?!?!
Goddammit, Theo! Why won't you raise my kids!?
knowledge reigns supreme over nearly everyone = KRS-ONE
cool shout out, sounds like a tribe called quest.
