So when punk started, it was basically emo?
Long live Crud.
oh my god, those mexican punks!
Flamboyant Mexican punks are the best punks.Good series.
Corrinne Boehrer for the win!
I like that the flaming pile of punk records was topped with "Sticky Fingers" by the Rolling Stones -- arguably the most punk record ever made.
So you guys at EIT heard, huh?http://www.punksonfilm.com/DAM!!!/DESTROY_ALL_MOVIES!!!_The_Complete_Guide_to_Punks_on_Film.htmlPhineas: It's from Rock n' Roll High School, and most of the records being burned are Ramones records. I have no idea why they threw Sticky Fingers in there, though.
Haha nevermind. EIT really is everywhere
The Bronson & Norris ones - and that poor girl lying on the ground - got me thinking. Punk is one of those Hollywood 'others', an enemy so inhuman it's OK to beat up/kill them. Like Communists before them, and Muslims today.But Communists and Muslims are supposed to have an ideology (in reality of peace and respect, but that's besides the point). What did punks have? Colorful hair? Spitting? Being angry?How could Hollywood make 1000s of films about an enemy that never existed in the first place?Great series!
PEE-WEE!Nicely done, Ghouly.
See? Best commenters ever.
Oh...so THAT'S what a Mexican drug lord looks like!
Anyone have any idea who the Mexican punk band is playing during the Mexican punk movie clip???
@John - 35 year-old Flamboyant Mexican punks, no less.
A young punk Christopher Walken?@4:28We're all forgottenWe're all doomedYou are doomed!What movie is that?
Should have included the wonderfully bad punk rockers scene from the opening of 'Howard The Duck'...;)
Made in Britain at 3:01, first movie Tim Roth was ever in. It's actually pretty damn good.
